Strolling from the kitchens to the dairy farm...

Visiting the kitchens' crew in the morning.

Very cool people, warm atmosphere and rich cooking !

Poor turkeys... are made fools of !
they are just asked to grow fat for Thanksgiving
and the kitchen is next door...

Guinea-fowls and hens live their short life in a wild environment...

This little kid, in the nursery...
doesn't looks as he could drive somebody up the wall.
..

... big ones spend the afternoon in the fields.

Five horses are available for horseback rides

With Baldwin for the dairy farm's tour...

Baldwin has a really good feeling with the animals...

There are two bulls, for reproduction only, in the cattle.
This one is Donald, named after governor Duke !

and here is Joshua, named after governor Dariye !
and Balwin's preferred one
.
(Are local governors known to be good reproductors ?)

Milking time...

and milkmen bringing the fresh milk to the dairy factory's 2,000 liters tanks...

... then WHY I never could enjoy a glass of fresh milk !!!
Probably they sell it all outside the ranch...

... because here I could only find yoghurts.

A part of the farm's orchard.

A little chat with the local security guys...

... the whole place here is quiet and safe.

Leaving Obudu mountains

Same breathtaking road ! no way back this time.

We left the Cattle Ranch at around 10:30 in the morning
and were down the hills half an hour later and now...
we dash toward Calabar, a 5 hours' drive.

Road to Calabar

I don't have the slightest idea were we are,
I should have marked every village on a map
all the way from Obudu. Too late for regrets now

Last stop for gasoline before Calabar.

And so on across the country
on a ride of about 60 km to Calabar.
